We are searching for a Test Engineer for our well-known international client to take responsibility for the end-to-end testing of the company’s own products and related digital tools. Your role will include planning, executing, and documenting testing activities in close collaboration with local developers and experts from other teams. The objective of testing is to ensure seamless integration between software components and functionalities developed across different teams, as well as to verify their performance and reliability in real-life testing environments.

As a Test Engineer, your goal will be to improve the efficiency of manual testing by analyzing testing phases and enhancing testing practices through the automation of repetitive and time-consuming tasks. Your responsibilities will also include defining test cases, executing tests, and documenting test results and observations in accordance with agreed procedures.

In addition to testing, your role will also include maintenance-related tasks for the product under testing. These may involve verifying electrical connections, debugging software, as well as collecting and analyzing log files. When needed, you will collaborate with developers, electrical designers, and other specialists to support effective troubleshooting and problem-solving.

We are looking for a candidate who has

• A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BEng or MSc)
  

• At least one year of experience in manual testing, commissioning, or maintaining prototype/test equipment
  

• Strong English language skills; proficiency in Finnish is considered an advantage
  

• A proactive, hands-on mindset combined with an eagerness to learn and an active approach to work
