Description

Are you our new Third-Party Risk Management System Lead and a Game Changer?

St1 is an energy transition company with the vision to be the leading producer and seller of CO₂-aware energy. St1 operates in Finland, Sweden, Norway, and the United Kingdom. Our portfolio encompasses oil products, biogas, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), renewable diesel (HVO) and solar power. St1 has 1,150 retail stations across Finland, Sweden and Norway. Together, we’re more than 1,000 curious, committed and caring people here to change the game. Ready to challenge the ordinary with us?

Responsibilities
How you’ll help drive the change

Joining St1, you’ll be part of a business actively investing in energy transition. As Third-Party Risk Management System Lead, you’ll own and develop from a technical and lifecycle perspective the system St1 uses to assess and onboard third parties — suppliers, partners and counterparties - in a controlled, risk-based way. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping the platform running smoothly, translating business and compliance requirements into practical system workflows, and making sure the whole process is auditable and efficient.

It’s a role that sits at the crossroads of technology, sustainability, risk and operations. You’ll work closely with teams across sustainability, legal, compliance, cybersecurity, data protection and St1’s value chains, as well as our internal IT team and the external platform vendor.

Your daily impact
  • Own and continuously develop from a technical and lifecycle the platform St1 uses for third-party risk management from screening and onboarding third parties to off boarding those
  • Configure and maintain workflows, questionnaires and automation rules so the right checks happen at the right time
  • Manage user access and make sure the system stays secure and compliant
  • Coordinate day-to-day onboarding requests, follow up with relevant teams, and keep things moving ensuring efficient implementation of the system
  • Track performance through dashboards and KPIs, and drive continuous improvement
  • Be the main contact with the platform vendor for updates, issues and renewals
  • Translate requirements from legal, sustainability, compliance, data protection, and cyber security into system-supported processes

What you bring to the team

We’re looking for a colleague with the drive to challenge, collaborate and grow. To thrive in this role, you likely have:

  • Hands-on experience with a third-party risk management (TPRM) system or governance, risk and compliance (GRC), vendor risk or compliance management platform — configuring workflows, forms and automation
  • A good understanding of system implementations and integrations (e.g. ERP, contract management tools), including coordinating system interfaces, without responsibility for technical implementation of the interfaces.
  • Experience with vendor or third-party risk management processes
  • Familiarity with risk and compliance areas such as data protection, cybersecurity, KYC or sustainability
  • A structured mindset with an eye for process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Strong project management and change management experience and skills
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable explaining technical topics to non-technical colleagues
  • Experience managing relationships with external software vendors

It’s an extra spark if you also:

  • Have direct experience with the OneTrust platform

In a hands-on, informal culture — and a business that never stands still — there’s room to explore ideas and take on new challenges.
